Product Description
Imported to the US from Europe as a six-year old by Redfield Farm in 2001, GG Valentine was named for her owner Barbara Kearney's grandmother, Gramma Gail, who was born on Valentine's Day. Under the training of Susie Schoellkopf and Jennifer Alfano of SBS Farms, GG started her dream career with an unbelievable winning streak in the First Year Green Working Hunters where she won championships at Devon, Washington International and the National which earned her the USEF First Year Green Horse of the Year honours.
Now she is mother to future champions like her colt Heartbreaker, born in January 2010. His sire is the chestnut Belgian Warmbloood stallion, Oh Star, owned by 2000 US Olympic show jumping team alternate, Todd Minikis. With parents like that, Heartbreaker's show career has already been jump started.
Legendary Hunter Mare GG Valentine, trained by Susie Schoelkopf and ridden by Jennifer Alfano, won it all - Devon, The National, Washington and Harrisburg, as well as claiming the USEF First Year Green Hunter National Championship and more.
After being retired at Devon, she became a broodmare and here she is with her Oh Star son, Heartbreaker.
